Our intensive green roof system uses the same basic principles as an extensive (Low growing) green roof except that the growing media depth varies to support a variety of different plant material. Unlike the extensive roof system the weight of an intensive roof can weigh as much as 45-50 Lbs. per sf. depending on the plant material, design and application.
